Last Sunday Archbishop Messmer of Milwaukee celebrated the 8 o’clock Mass at St. Bernard’s Church and at the 10 o’clock Mass administered the sacrament of confirmation to a large number of children and a few adult people . . . At 3 in the afternoon a large number were confirmed at St. Henry’s Church by the Archbishop . . . On Monday the Archbishop went to Richwood and on Tuesday Reeseville, where he also confirmed large numbers.
